EFCC Arrests 120 ‘Yahoo Boys’ In Ibadan
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has detained eighty accused online fraudsters known as “Yahoo boys” in Ibadan, Oyo’s capital. Forty others were apprehended by Enugu Zonal Command agents for the same alleged offenses. According to EFCC spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren’s statement on Wednesday, they were apprehended after confirmed information accused them. Incriminating documents were found in 35 of the 80 suspects arrested in Ibadan, he noted.
